The Ishtar Collective has been Collaborating!

Alongside other LGBTQ+ centers, the Rainbow Bridge Community Center in partnership with The People’s Health and Wellness Clinic, we have been offering free health and wellness clinics to LGBTQIA2S+ sex workers and survivors in the form of our ‘Pop Out Clinics’. Soon, we will bring these Pop Outs (in conjunction with the Pride Center of Vermont and University of Vermont Medical Center) to our wider communities in New England. Here, we will be offering all people with lived experience in the sex trade free services in the following:

Access to primary health care and gender-affirming healthcare coverage (for those in VT) alongside healing (herbalism, somatic bodywork, massage therapy, etc.), and primary prevention services. We host a freestore with clothes, shoes, home building items, and bags. We will be regularly partnering with medical professionals to offer free COVID, monkeypox, and flu vaccines soon; and currently distribute safer sex and drug use supplies among other services for trans folks, sex workers, survivors, people with disabilities, houseless and low-income folks.
