I am first and foremost a survivor. As a Black, Native, and queer person working in sex work I have had first hand experience on the dangers that we encounter. This can come from police, the community, or clients. I am neurodivergent and suffered trauma, but those things do not define me. I am a community leader. I am loving and despite my trauma, I am here to nurture my community.
ACTIVATION WARNING: THE NEXT SECTION TALKS ABOUT SEXUAL ASSAULT AND VIOLENCE
I have survived police profiling, sexual assault, and been a survivor of police violence and though I’ve been raped many times, it was never to the degree of violence and humiliation as it was by the police.
From infancy I was used and abused. I have survived trafficking situations, but the choices I have made to reclaim my power have allowed my spirit to thrive and I work to protect my survivor siblings.
I advocate for my mental health and sexual healing, but make no mistake...I am not a victim. I am angry on behalf of my inner child. I wish I could go back and hold every single person who has experienced exploitation and violence. This is why I’m extremely passionate about breaking the stigma and providing a network of support and change for my community to flourish instead of just simply to survive.
